Wildflowers grow all along the byway, especially in open fields from Grand Bay to Dauphin Island and from Orange Beach to Foley and farther north. An estate with more than 250,000 vibrant azaleas, 2,000 rose plants representing 36 varieties, hydrangeas, beautiful tropical plants, and a 10,500-square-foot home to tour. You don’t have to imagine it, though. Just plan a visit to Bellingrath Gardens and Home this spring.
Are you ready to come out and play? One of the most versatile attractions along Alabama’s Coastal Connection is Graham Creek Nature Preserve in Foley. Taking a short drive from the Foley Beach Express rewards you with more than 500 acres to explore.
