Plan a visit to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab on April 10, 2021, for Discovery Day. The Estuarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab is always a fun stop on Alabama’s Coastal Connection. This annual spring event provides an opportunity for the public to tour the research facilities, learn about the coastal ecosystem, and understand why it’s important to conserve our resources.
Exhibits for Discovery Day include marine-themed games, touch tables, and arts and crafts. Community agencies will be there, as well as the Azalea Trail Maids and Smokey the Bear.
Discovery Day hours are from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The exhibits outside the Estuarium are free to all. Adults will receive a reduced admission fee for the Estuarium and admission for children is free.
