- The 18th Annual Alabama Coastal Birdfest is scheduled for September 28 – October 1. This event invites bird and nature lovers from all over to enjoy birdwatching during a prime time of fall migration.
- The National Shrimp Festival is planned to take over the main Gulf Shores beach from October 6 through October 9. Food, music, art and more make for a weekend of pure entertainment.
- The German Sausage Festival in Elberta will be open October 29. More than 200 arts and crafts booths, entertainment for the family, and the famous German sausage highlight this twice-yearly festival.
- The Chocolate and Cheese Festival will take place at Foley’s Heritage Park on November 12. What could be better than chocolate and cheese? Arts and crafts, kids’ zone and live entertainment will seal the deal for you if you weren’t sold already.
