Fuel up for the day with brunch at the Copper Kettle Tea Bar. Situated in downtown Foley, this spot is known for its delicious brunch, specialty teas and coffees. The local loose-leaf tea specialists at the Copper Kettle will help you pick out something perfect for sipping. Their fresh soups, Greek hummus and tea house salads make for a delectable and light brunch.
Learn all about Foley’s history at the Railroad Depot Museum. Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the museum houses artifacts that tell the story of Foley’s inception, and it’s a great way to get your bearings. Continue the history lesson at the Holmes Medical Museum and tour the area’s first hospital, which operated from 1936 to 1958. Medicine sure has come a long way since then!
Worked up an appetite? Head to the Gift Horse for lunch. This local favorite is known for their extravagant daily buffet and their famous apple cheese casserole, recognized as one of 100 dishes to eat in Alabama before you die.
