All ages will enjoy Bellingrath Gardens and Home’s Boo at Bellingrath. Plan your visit for Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  

Imagine you are a Federal spy in 1864. Captured by Confederate soldiers, you must escape your prison. Grab a group of friends and make reservations for Fort Morgan’s Escape Room.  While you’re there, explore the fort, considered one of the most haunted places in the state, and learn about the soldiers who lived and died there.   

The Wharf in Orange Beach has a whole week of family-friendly events, starting October 24 with a Spooky Movie on the LawnEach day brings more spooky fun such as another movie, Hunt-O-Ween and Chilling Chalk, and the week comes to a close on October 31 with Spooky Sparks After Dark.  

Graham Creek Nature Preserve’s annual Pumpkin Play Day is October 24. The first 150 kids in attendance will receive pumpkins to decorate, and all kids are invited to play games and win prizes as they trick-or-treat throughout the classroom. And don’t miss the Graham Creek Haunted Forest on October 10, 17, 23 and 24 from 7 until 10 p.m. 

The City of Foley’s Hometown Halloween is taking a different turn for 2020. An entertaining Halloween drive-in movie, “The Addams Family,” will be held near the city baseball fields on Highway 98.
