Just about any week of the year, visitors to Alabama’s Coastal Connection can find great theatre somewhere on the scenic byway. Performances at the local community theatres feature well-known shows and locally written plays.

Formed in 1960, this Fairhope theatre continues to bring live performances to residents. This year’s season comes to a close, with “Death by Design” playing throughout October.

In Gulf Shores, SBCT will wrap up their season with “Murder of the Orient Express” in October and the youth presentation of “A Christmas Carol” in December.

.The new Orange Beach Performing Arts Center is home to this city-sponsored organization. Their “Visions of Christmas” variety show is coming up in November, slated for the weekend before Thanksgiving.
