Summertide Theatre will perform “All Shook Up” until July 3.
You’ll be dancing in your seat during “All Shook Up,” the musical theatre offering from SummerTide Theatre, a production of the University of Alabama’s Department of Theatre and Dance. Enjoy songs like “Jailhouse Rock, “Heartbreak Hotel” and “Don’t Be Cruel” as you journey into 1955 and see what happens when a guitar-playing roustabout comes to a square little town in a square little state. Get ready for a rocking good time that will leave your toes tapping and your heart happy.
SummerTide Theatre is celebrating its 11th year of presenting professional musical theatre at South Baldwin Community Theatre in Gulf Shores. Performances for “All Shook Up,” are Tuesday to Sunday through July 4 at 8 p.m. Ticket prices are $20 for adults and $15 for children under 12 and are available online. You may also call the box office at 251-968-6721 for more information. SBCT is an intimate theatre setting, with 125 seats, and all of the seats have good views of the stage. There is a handicapped accessible area in the theatre.
As part of its partnership with South Baldwin Community Theatre, SummerTide conducts a children’s theatre camp. Information about the camp, conducted weekly from Tuesday to Saturday, can also be found online. The theatre is located at 2022 West Second Street, Gulf Shores.
