The Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail: Dating back to the area’s indigenous people, early explorers and settlers of the region, there are many historic points along the way. You may even catch a glimpse of the legendary “Catman” who some believe lurks in the woodlands and swamps. The trail is open daylight hours only, no camping allowed.
