After a magical holiday season at Bellingrath Gardens and Home, it’s time to turn to Winter Wednesdays. The calendar may say winter, but the gardens here are still filled with blooms and beauty.
To deepen your connection with all things gardening, workshops are offered to the public on Wednesdays from January 4 to February 15. Sessions of Winter Wednesdays begin at 10:30 a.m. and typically last about an hour. Your admission price or membership fee covers attendance at these events.
The workshops highlight a special feature of the gardens or home, feature guest lectures from renowned members of the horticultural and gardening world, and provide tips for making your own garden more spectacular.
After the program, take a stroll around the gardens to see what is blooming. Camellias, pansies, violas, daffodoils, tulips and hyacinths are just a few of the flowers that are showcased in January and February.
