Welcome the spring season with an Easter vacation on Alabama’s white-sand beaches. Bright mornings with sunlight glinting off the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the warm sand beneath your feet set the tone for a relaxing beach holiday. It’s a perfect time to visit Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. You won’t have to miss a moment of the egg-dropping, bunny-hopping fun during your spring beach vacation.
Get in plenty of family time building sandcastles and enjoying the Gulf as you celebrate the warm sunny weather after a winter that outstayed its welcome. There are numerous opportunities for Easter egg hunts and religious services, too.
Need photos of your little ones with the Easter Bunny? Head over to Palm Plaza at The Wharf, from 1 to 4 p.m. April 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 for this fun tradition.
Want to participate in a fun Easter Egg Hunt? The Wharf is sponsoring one at 11 a.m. on April 19 and the Flora-Bama is having its annual Egg Hunt and Kids Fun Day at 2 p.m., also on April 19.
Easter Sunday services begin bright and early at 6:30 a.m. at Fort Gaines Historic Site for the Community Easter Sunrise Service or attend the Worship at the Water Easter Service at 11 a.m. at Flora-Bama. After church, head over to LuLu’s for its Easter Egg Hunt.
At the end of the fun-filled holiday, return to your beachfront condo or Orange Beach hotel and put your feet up. Many of our condos and hotels have packages built around the Easter holiday, and it’s a great time to preview what summer has to offer in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Check out the latest specials and come experience a whole new state of hassle-free holidays on the Alabama Gulf Coast.
