For 29 years, music lovers have converged on the Gulf Coast to hear Grammy-winning songwriters and up-and-coming stars take the spotlight during the Frank Brown International Songwriters’ Festival. This year, from Nov. 7 to 17, more than 200 of these talented performers will treat listeners to up-close and personal concert experiences at venues throughout Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Perdido Key.
Featured songwriters include the likes of Sherrie Austin, whose music you’ll hear sung by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, as well as Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins with songs like “If I Was a Woman” and “ShotGun Rider.” Songwriter Lisa Carver will also take the stage during the festival. Carver’s songs have been recorded by Jewel, Reba McEntire, Tanya Tucker, Tim McGraw and Willie Nelson. Sugarland also cut Carver’s song, “Everyday America.”
Regional greats will get your toes tapping. You’ll be treated to the sounds of Brent Burns, Grayson Capps, Lisa Christian, Wes Loper, Shawna P, Sugarcane Jane and more.
There’s still plenty of time to book your Gulf Shores condo and bar hop from one performance to the next. Family-friendly venues will also host performances throughout the festival.
