Summer has come to an end, which means it’s time for all the spooky and not-so-spooky Halloween fun along Alabama’s Coastal Connection Scenic Byway!

From Halloween-centered events to haunted attractions, the byway is the place to go this season. Your little trick-or-treaters will enjoy these family-friendly Halloween events.

Boo at Bellingrath

October 29, 1-6 p.m.

The gardens will be filled with spooky activities, a pumpkin patch, inflatables and more. Costumes are encouraged and there will be plenty of treats for all, thanks to the generous vendors!

Foley’s Hometown Halloween

October 27, 5:30-8 p.m.

Local businesses get together to provide a safe and entertaining Halloween celebration.

Enjoy jump houses, games, hayrides and more outside of the Foley Welcome Center. Don’t forget to enter the costume contest!

Looking for more of a fright than a treat? A Civil War fort could be the answer. It has been said for many years that Fort Morgan is haunted by real spirits. Tales of seeing a woman roaming the grounds and of hearing a man crying late at night are a few of many stories that have been told after visiting the old battlegrounds.

Plan your visit to the ACC Scenic Byway this spooky season for trick-or-treating and maybe even some haunting!
