Stroll through a dazzling display that features more than 1,100 set pieces, 3 million lights and 15 scenes throughout the 65-acre estate. In addition, the Bellingrath Home is decorated in its holiday finery and enhanced with beautiful poinsettias. Magic Christmas in Lights opens November 29 and continues nightly, rain or shine, through December 31, 2019 (closed Christmas Day).
The beloved story of a wooden nutcracker that becomes a prince and leads a young girl into a dreamy journey springs to life as The Nutcracker ballet in Gulf Shores on December 8. If it isn’t on your list of family holiday traditions, make this year the start of something new!

Who doesn’t love holiday music, particularly by a symphonic band in a live setting? December 6, 9 and 10 are the dates for the Baldwin Pops ’Tis the Season concert in Daphne, Foley and Gulf Shores, respectively. The extremely popular, free presentations are a hit with all ages, so arrive early for the 7 p.m. performances.
