There’s no better way to kick off the 2013 SEC football season than a weekend of fun, sun and celebrity coaches in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach. Go wide and catch all the action of the SEC BeachFest this weekend, Aug. 15 to 18.

You’ve waited all year for it, and now’s the time to share the beach with SEC greats like Gene Stallings, Pat Dye, Phil Fulmer and Vince Dooley and more. Hear the coaches live and in person as they discuss current football news and news from their own coaching days.

The FanZone Fueled by BP will be hopping this weekend! The kids can participate in youth football and cheer clinics and everyone is invited to enjoy beach football, volleyball, corn hole competitions and SECBF_WeekendPassmore. Don’t forget to pose for a photo with the Dr. Pepper National Championship Coaches Trophy, too!

On Friday night, listen to the soulful sounds of classic R&B by Marc Broussard during the beach concert. On Saturday night, Rodney Atkins will take the beach stage and belt out some of his chart topping hits including ‘Take a Back Road,’ ‘Farmer’s Daughter’ and ‘These Are My People.’

In addition to the fun and festivities of the weekend-long event, there will also be a 5K  and Fun Run with Waffle Breakfast, as well as an SEC Golf Scramble and Fishing Tournaments.

Tickets to the SEC BeachFest are still available and are only $25 for weekend passes! Come on down and get your game face on for the 2013 SEC football season in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach. Who needs turf when you have sugar-white sand anyway?
