Fun, fans and football mixed with sun, sand and surf sounds like the perfect combination to kick off the SEC football season. For the second year, SEC fans from all over the country will converge on Gulf Shores & Orange Beach to celebrate their favorite teams and friendly rivalries.

The SEC BeachFest play clock will start on Aug. 15 with a golf scramble at Craft Farms, Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club, Gulf Shores Golf Club and Kiva Dunes. Starting Aug. 16, festival goers can make their way to the SEC FanZone Fueled by BP where there will be youth football and cheer clinics, town hall chalk talks with SEC legends, beach football, volleyball, corn hole competitions and more. Saturday and Sunday bring two more days of football fun and camaraderie.  From the 5K and one-mile fun run to the SEC BeachFest Fishing Challenge and Kid’s Pier Fishing Tournament, there’s plenty to do all weekend long. The SEC FanFare will also continue throughout the weekend. On Saturday night, head to the beach concert area to end your day with the smooth country sounds of Rodney Atkins.

Tickets are still available to the 2013 SEC BeachFest. Weekend passes are $25 and can be purchased online. VIP tickets are also available for $199 and include an open bar, snacks, air-conditioned area, executive restrooms and a Meet and Greet with special guests.
